Links Technology Builds New Wheeling Park District Website

Located just 27 miles northwest of Chicago; Wheeling Park District serves almost 40,000 residents in a multitude of ways. The Park District provides various recreation activities and facilities, a full-service country club and events for the community. Links is a proud supporter of Illinois Park Districts as a corporate member of IAPD and an annual state conference sponsor.

Links evaluated the existing website and went to work recreating it in a modern mobile responsive design that allows for visitors to easily view the site from various devices including phones and tablets. The site includes features that help the District promote their services and market their special events as well as help residents find facilities and parks throughout the District.

The new wheelingparkdistrict.com was built using Adobe Business Catalyst, a leading content management system (CMS), which provides staff the ability to quickly edit and update the site with new content as well as monitor its use. Additionally, Links created an easy-to-use document management system within the site to meet state reporting requirements for board and committee meeting minutes and agendas.
