Case Study: IT Staffing and Consulting – Offsite Workforce Solution

The Client

A major pharmaceutical company

The Business Challenge

Our client, with multiple offices located in Chicago, Dallas, and Scottsdale had been experiencing difficulties hiring across multiple locations. The client was also experiencing limited physical office capacity to house its resources. The managers were required to work with multiple vendors for staff augmentation depending on the office location and staffing needs. Given the scope of the manager's responsibilities, staffing was becoming a drain on their limited resources. They needed a strategy that would allow them a more efficient, timely, and qualified standard of operation, as well as creative, out-of-the-box solutions to solve their office space issue.

The Solution

Links' national presence allowed us to establish a dedicated team of account managers and recruiters to deliver a strong pool of contract, contract-to-hire and permanent employees to our client. Links also offered our client dedicated, secure space within Links' corporate facility to accommodate up to 20 staffing resources. The space was designed to simulate the client's actual environment including appropriate hardware/software and dedicated, secure connectivity through a VPN. The client is now exploring additional creative solutions with Links.

By understanding our client's needs and addressing their issues, Links was able to demonstrate our flexible on-demand staff augmentation solutions.

Some additional benefits included:

  • Our client was allowed greater flexibility to select candidates from each location while still maintaining local representation
  • Links worked as a liaison within our client's operations ensuring that staffing needs were prioritized and maximized across locations based on client needs
  • Client management was left to focus on more important issues, while Links managed and accommodated resource allocation to their off-site facility
  • A strong client partnership was established which created a more efficient work process
